Three nice shots Kiri - I like the second one best, although I think it would take a little more sharpening. The pose is good and the OOF background is just about the perfect colour to make this bird stand out. I also like the softness around the bird's feet introduced by the OOF foreground.

Thanks Claire,

Any better? Now set to 66 in LR over all the picture and top of the scale 100 on the bird itself. Looks a bit noisier to me is the only thing..?

I think the rework is a lot better Kiri - perhaps we could work on this shot when I give you the photoshop tutorial as promised. :)

Hi Kiri, nice pictures. the rework is very nice to my eyes. :D

Claire, is this a new business venture.....................i could do with a photoshop tutorial as well, OH! and a printing tutorial, a picture taking tutorial, and how to find wildlife.... :mrgreen:
